This Ministry Skills Stream aims to help participants to develop an understanding of pastoral care from a Christian perspective and become more effective in relation to and caring for the people and communities around them.

On completion of this Ministry Skills Stream participants will be able to:
- Develop an understanding of the connection between spirituality and pastoral care
- Outline their own journey of growth and development
- Describe in outline three major theories of human growth and development
- Practice appropriate listening and responding skills
- Describe safe practice in pastoral ministry
