This Ministry Skills Stream aims to give participants a renewed understanding of social justice as an essential element of the Church’s mission and the skills to engage prophetically with justice issues in their local communities. It is designed to inform and skill participants in identifying and addressing justice issues and develop suitable responses in partnership with other members of their community.

On completion of this Ministry Skills Stream participants will be able to:
- identify and articulate the elements of social justice as a reflection of their faith and the mission of the Church;
- reflect theologically about justice issues including creation and the environment;
- identify and employ community development skills;
- identify the methods for building community partnerships; and
- using the above skills and partnerships to address a social justice issue in your local community.–
