This Ministry Skills Stream aims to help participants to understand where Anglican ministry to Families and Children will be best developed in the present church context.
On completion of this Ministry Skills Stream participants will be able to:
- Reflect on the present operation of traditional church ministries to families and children;
- Understand contemporary all age worship and be able to plan such worship;
- Be aware of ‘Messy Church’ and the opportunity it provides for missional outreach to non-church going families;
- Be aware of other ways of ministering to children in the twenty first century;
- Be aware of the range of material available to resource ministry to children and families.
